Project Overview

During my time at HELL ENERGY, I had the opportunity to lead the creation of key visuals for Hell Ice Coffee, a bold and dynamic sub-brand under the HELL ENERGY umbrella. The goal was to design versatile, eye-catching compositions that could be easily adapted for all aspect ratios and work seamlessly across the existing product line, representing each unique flavor of the drink.

As the digital photographer, compositor, and art director for this project, I was responsible for crafting visuals that not only captured the brand’s identity but also provided the flexibility needed for various digital platforms, including social media, websites, and email marketing.

The Challenge

The project presented several key challenges:

  • Hyper-Realistic Product Renders – Capturing every texture, from the smooth aluminum can to the rich, creamy coffee inside.
  • Dynamic Motion & Liquid Simulation – Bringing the product to life with splashes, condensation, and dramatic lighting.
  • Cinematic Lighting & Composition – Enhancing the brand’s premium feel with a sleek, high-contrast visual approach.
  • Multiple Variations & Flexibility – Creating an asset library that allowed the brand to quickly adapt content for different campaigns and platforms.

The challenge was to create a cohesive visual system that could be easily customized for different flavors and formats while maintaining a strong, recognizable brand presence.

The Result

The project delivered a versatile and cost-effective solution for Hell Ice Coffee’s digital marketing needs. By creating customizable 3D scenes and assets, we eliminated the need for a physical photoshoot, saving approximately €12,000 (unused budget)  and enabling quick adaptations for various campaigns and platforms. The modular design ensured seamless integration with the DTP team, reducing turnaround times and maintaining brand consistency across all flavors. The agile 3D workflow allowed for faster iterations and a more sustainable approach, resulting in dynamic visuals that reinforced Hell Ice Coffee’s bold identity and drove engagement across digital channels.
